About us
We are a team of parents, educators, engineers and Silicon Valley Tech entrepreneurs. STEM has always been a huge part of our lives. An early introduction to STEM in education piqued our curiosity about "how does the world work?" and encouraged us to experiment. It taught us to be resolute in the hunt for answers. Once our curiosity was awakened, we learnt to apply and re-apply concepts in multiple ways to achieve an understanding that made sense to us. It taught us to try, fail, and get up and try again with a new approach. Early exposure to STEM encouraged us to pursue higher education in STEM, to gain better understanding of the world and build 21st-century skills.
Our motivation
We are united in our desire to make science learning fun and approachable. We believe that by partnering with educators to extend the existing science curriculum through science activities, we can help classroom teachers reinforce understanding of theoretical concepts, allow for experimentation and spark curiosity! Teachers can unlock a child's potential for discovery and innovation! We also are supremely motivated by the opportunity to help make STEM equitable across all classrooms.
Our instructors
Our instructors are highly trained, have prior experience with kids and passionate about education. They encourage questions and implement practices that encourage students to seek answers through trial and error. They are team players who can collaborate with teachers to build a strong activity based science curriculum that extends the classroom lesson. They are punctual, organized and respectful. They are also background checked!
